Youth Education

Youth Education

There is a place for you here at Shalom. We offer weekly activities for kids in Kindergarten through Senior High. The focus with the youth is faith formation, fellowship and fun. Our program follows the school year, September to June.

Sunday School

Children are dismissed for Sunday School part way through the Worship Service into the following classes:

Infant – Pre K              Nursery (staffed from 9:00 am)

K – 5th Grade             Ginny's Room

Our curriculum is a mix between Godly Play, A Joyful Path, and current events.

Other Youth Programs

12:30pm – 2:00pm    Sundays, Our Whole Lives (OWL) for elementary ages is meeting at the Community Unitarian Universalist Church in Pasco

4:00pm – 5:30pm    Wednesdays, Kid Stuff, an elementary aged fellowship and learning time.  We do not meed on holidays.

6:00pm – 8:00pm    Sundays, Youth Group (7th grade - 12th grade) meets at Shalom.  We do not meet during school breaks.

For Elementary Fellowship, we do crafts, play outdoors, listen to stories, share our experiences, and sometimes, we take field trips!

As many church group activities happen on Wednesdays, dinner is prepared as an opportunity to gather in fellowship between the various happenings. The food is fabulous!
